Rock and Roll; an oft used term in music, yet seldom correctly. There is so much more than just playing songs really loudly. Arrogant swagger, infectious groove, unbridled sexuality, heart racing rhythm, undeniable passion, swing, sway, and soul are what separate Rock and Roll from the rest of its musical counterparts.
ASPHALT VALENTINE is without a doubt a rock and roll band.
Modern Pop culture is filled with supposed experts who's only goal is to come up with cutesy catch phrases designed to make people feel better. One of the most common is the classic "Take lemons and make lemonade." For most, it's a silly ideology which ends up false; a proverb who's reality is that bad breaks in life are those that ruin a person's chance to rise up from the circumstances of their life. But every once in a great while, there is a story that proves you can harness the energy of every bad situation possible, focus it into your craft, and turn it into something which is by far stronger and better.
Rowan Robertson (born November 22, 1971 in Cambridge, United Kingdom) is an English Guitarist.
Rowan Robertson took up guitar at the early age of five. From an early age he took an interest in the band Dio as he began learning songs from the 1984 Dio album The Last in Line.
After a year and half away from the music industry, it was time to unleash one more metal assault, so in December of 2007, J.C.B.(vocals) and T.C.(lead guitarist) founding members of the Cleveland band BAPTIZED IN BLOOD, started to put the core of their new project together.

METALCHURCH vocalist Ronny Munroe will release his solo album, "The Fire Within", in April. Several demo tracks which are expected to appear on the CD are available for streaming on Munroe's MySpace page.
Ronny Munroe's solo band includes METALCHURCH guitarist Rick Van Zandt on guitar.
According to Tacoma Weekly, METALCHURCH guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof had encouraged Munroe for some time to do a solo project. With METALCHURCH's plans to tour in support of their new album on hold, this offered an opportunity for Munroe to do so.

KTLA.com reports that a helicopter carrying MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee was forced to land at Van Nuys Airport Sunday (February 1) after it flew too close to an LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) chopper over Glendale.
The incident happened around 10:45 a.m., police said.
The pilot apparently told police after landing that he had been drinking. He was taken to the LAPD's Van Nuys Station and later released. He apparently was not booked for a crime pending the outcome of an intoxication test.
"The pilot was flying rather erratically, and he did get too close to one of our helicopters" said LAPD Officer Karen Smith. "The tower over the area was concerned about his flying too."
Lee, who had been in the chopper, was let go. "Tommy Lee was a passenger aboard the helicopter, but he had nothing to do with the situation; so he was just released," Smith said.
